People are often surprised that a single Kangen machine makes five different waters. Only two of them are for drinking; the others earn their keep around the house. Here's the practical rundown.
Kangen Water (pH 8.5–9.5) — for drinking
This is the star: the hydrogen-rich, gently alkaline water you drink and cook with every day, selectable across three levels. Use it for water, coffee, tea, soups and even watering fussy plants.
Clean / Neutral Water (pH 7.0) — for drinking
Filtered, pH-neutral water made without electrolysis. Its neutrality makes it the go-to for taking medication and for preparing baby food.
Beauty Water (pH 4.0–6.0) — not for drinking
A mildly acidic water valued as a natural astringent. People use it as a facial toner, a final hair rinse, for pet care, and for polishing glass and mirrors to a streak-free shine.
A quick rule of thumb: the two mid-range waters are for your body; the two extremes are for your home.
Strong Kangen Water (pH ~11) — not for drinking
Made with the electrolysis enhancer, this high-alkaline water is a kitchen workhorse: washing vegetables, lifting bitterness from certain foods, cutting grease and tackling stubborn stains — often with less detergent.
Strong Acidic Water (pH ~2.5) — not for drinking
Also made with the enhancer, this low-pH water is prized for cleaning and hygiene — wiping down cutting boards, utensils and kitchen surfaces.
Getting the most from one machine
The appeal is simple: one appliance replaces bottled drinking water, a jug filter, several cleaning sprays and a bottle of toner. Just remember the golden rule — only the Kangen and Clean waters are for drinking.
