One Machine, Five Waters

A single Kangen® ioniser produces five distinct types of water — each with its own pH, its own oxidation potential and its own purpose, from your morning glass to your kitchen counter.

First, two numbers that matter

Every one of the five waters is described by two simple measurements. Understand these and the whole range makes sense.

pH — how acidic or alkaline

pH runs from 0 to 14. Below 7 is acidic, 7 is neutral, above 7 is alkaline. It is a logarithmic scale, so each whole step is a tenfold change. Your ioniser lets you dial the water from strongly acidic (~2.5) all the way to strongly alkaline (~11.0).

ORP — oxidation-reduction potential

ORP, measured in millivolts, describes whether water tends to give away electrons (a negative, "reducing" value) or take them (a positive, "oxidising" value). Freshly ionised Kangen water carries a negative ORP; the acidic waters carry a positive one.

Freshness — why it's made on demand

Dissolved molecular hydrogen and ORP both fade once water meets the air, which is exactly why a Kangen machine makes each water at the tap, the moment you need it — never bottled, never left to stand.

Strong Kangen Water

Needs Electrolysis Enhancer

A high-alkaline water made with the electrolysis enhancer. Not for drinking — it's a powerful, natural helper around the kitchen and for tough cleaning jobs.

A mildly acidic water (around pH 4.0–6.0) prized as a natural astringent. Not for drinking — it's for skin, hair and around the home.

Strong Kangen and Strong Acidic waters are produced with the Electrolysis Enhancer — a food-grade saline solution added to a small dedicated tank. They are cleaning and food-prep waters, never for drinking.
